I don't use photoshop, but "Microsoft Photo Premium". The use of this software program is very différent in comparaison with "Photoshop" or "Gimp".
I don't manage to use photoshop, but I will train, because I know that it's the best software program.

* Effects makes it look impressive, it removes the simplicity of art...
* The Character in the art is the most important thing...
* The Character gives the emotion to the theme of the wallpaper...
* Please Choose Wisely...
* Please Don't Over Do It...

you say this in all sz posts, but it's not really true
colors aren't always important, example
effects aren't necessary if it was skillfully made. example
character not always most important. example
same example for emotion.
the last two thing you say are fine.

what you need to realize is there are no strict rules for art, and when you give advice while making rules, it restricts the creativity of the individual. just stick to giving direct advice for the current subject, so they can truly take away what's important.
